The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing:

COUNTY ROADWAY PROJECT PHASE 2

This project includes approximately 6.3 miles of roadway resurfacing in the Highland View community in Gulf County, FL.

Completion date for this project will be 150 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $2,650.00 per day.

Please place YOUR COMPANY NAME, SEALED BID, and BID NUMBER on the outside of your envelope and include the original bid plus 2 copies.

All bidders shall be FDOT Qualified per Section 2-1 of the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition in the following work classes: Grading, Drainage, Flexible Paving, and Hot Plant Mix-Bituminous Course.

Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 21, 2023 at the Gulf County Clerk’s Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners held in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida on September 26, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Bid specifications can be obtained by clicking HERE or through the Gulf County Clerk’s Office. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All questions must be submitted to Clay Smallwood, P.E. at [email protected].

GULF COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE STORAGE EXPANSION
 

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the “County”, is seeking statement of qualifications from any qualified person, company, or corporation interested in providing site improvements including the addition of two storage buildings, one pole barn, and fencing on the Gulf County Sheriff’s Office site located at 418 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd. in Port St. Joe.

Bid specifications can be obtained by clicking HERE or through the Gulf County Clerk’s Office. Bids will be received until 4:00 PM Eastern Time on August 24, 2023 at the Gulf County Clerk’s Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at this same location on August 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.

To be considered, Firm/Team must submit an original and three (3) copies of Statement of Qualifications in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Firm/Team’s or individual’s name and address, bid number, and the words “GULF COUNTY SHERIFF’S STORAGE EXPANSION”.

This project includes repairs to Bridge #514013 located over Wetappo Creek on Pleasant Rest Road in Gulf County, FL. Repairs include slope stabilization and expansion joint rehabilitation.

The completion date for this project will be 60 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $980.00 per day.
