The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the "County", is seeking statements of qualifications from any qualified person, company, or corporation to provide design and construction services for the Golf Course Irrigation System project.

RFQ DEADLINE: Submitted on or before June 11, 2021, no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time at Gulf County Clerk’s Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened on June 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time at this same location.

To be considered, Proposer must submit an original and two (2) copies of Statement of Qualifications in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Proposer's name and address, bid number, and the words "GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS".

The County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities, to reject any or all proposals received, and to otherwise decide in the best interests of the County. The Board shall have the final decision-making authority concerning any final award, or interim or comprehensive agreement entered into by the County. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked in order of preference by a Selection Committee to be appointed by the County Administrator as authorized by the Board of County Commissioners. The Selection Committee, at its option, may request that proposers make presentations and/or participate in questions and answers sessions. The County may also request additional information from proposers that may be necessary to fully evaluate a proposal. After the Selection Committee has ranked proposals and submitted recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners, the County will then begin negotiations with the highest-ranked firm.

H.H.R.P. ROUND 2 FUNDING CONSULTING SERVICES AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Gulf County has received the awarded $1,820,000 funding from the Hurricane Housing Recovery Program (H.H.R.P.) Program to provide Housing Rehabilitation Assistance, Demolition/Reconstruction, and Purchase Assistance for Hurricane Michael to assist families affected by Hurricane Michael for approved Very Low, Low, and Moderate Income single-family housing units throughout the County.

Gulf County is currently accepting applications from consultants, organizations, corporations or individuals that are interested in providing administration, program management, and compliance services of the rehabilitation strategy for County H.H.R.P. Program. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to participate.

Bids are due no later than May 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., ET. Proposal submissions must be sealed and marked with the name of the proposer, “SEALED BID”, title “H.H.R.P. ROUND 2 FUNDING CONSULTING SERVICES AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES” and Bid No. 2021-22 to the Gulf County Clerk of Court, 1000 Cecil G. Costin, Sr., Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida, 32465.
