The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking solicitations and sealed bids from qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing the following:

BID DEADLINE: Submitted on or before Friday, April 21, 2023 no later than 4:00 PM (Eastern) to the Gulf County Clerk of Court at 1000 Cecil G. Costin, Sr., Blvd., Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 and will be opened and read aloud at a meeting of the Gulf County Board of Commissioners in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, in the Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida for announcement and consideration at their publicly noticed regular meeting on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 9:00 AM (Eastern).
Proposal submissions must submit in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with your name on the outside of your envelope, and provide two copies of your bid, Bid No. 2223-21 and title “GULF COUNTY WIMICO PLACE PARCELS LOTS 9 & 10” so as to identify the enclosed bid. Proposals received later than the date and time as specified will be rejected. The Board will not be responsible for the late deliveries of proposals that are incorrectly addressed, delivered in person, by mail or any other type of delivery service.
The County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities, to reject any or all proposals received, and to otherwise make a decision in the best interests of the County. The Board shall have the final decision- making authority concerning any final award of selling the parcels. The proposals will be evaluated and then submitted with recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. If only one proposal is received, the County may negotiate in good faith. Such bids and related information shall be subject to the applicable provisions of the Florida Public Records Act.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION
SERVICES FOR BORDERS ROAD
The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the "County", is seeking statements of qualifications from Engineering Firms to provide CEI services which are required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for roadway improvements on Borders Road in Gulf County, FL. The improvements include resurfacing of approximately 1.1 miles of roadway. Engineering Firms shall be FDOT qualified in Work Type 10.1: Roadway CEI.
RFQ DEADLINE: April 20, 2023 no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time at the Gulf County Clerk’s Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at this same location on April 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.

BORDERS ROAD
This project includes approximately 1.1 miles of roadway reconstruction along Borders Road in Gulf County, FL.
Completion date for this project will be 120 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $1,699.00 per day.
