GULF COUNTY INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking solicitations from Internet Service Providers to provide and remotely manage the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners Internet Service Connection.

The provider will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of any routers necessary to allow for the connection at 3 locations within Gulf County. The provider will also be responsible for any connection / wiring to the building demarcation point.

RFQ DEADLINE: Submitted on or before Friday, July 19, 2019 no later than 4:00 P.M., E.T. to the Gulf County Clerk of Court at 1000 Cecil G. Costin, Sr., Blvd., Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 and will be opened at this same location on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10:00 A.M., E.T. RFQ’s will be evaluated and a recommendation provided to the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners at a public meeting.

LATE PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THE AFOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE CLERK’S OFFICE. PROPOSALS OFFERED ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FIRM OR INDIVIDUAL FOR ASSURING THAT PROPOSALS ARE RECEIVED IN THE CLERK’S OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME. Proposal submissions must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the entity or proposer’s name, address and the RFP number and title “GULF COUNTY INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER” to identify the enclosed proposal. Each submittal shall include one (1) original and three (3) copies of the proposal. Proposals received later than the date and time as specified will be rejected. The Board will not be responsible for the late deliveries of proposals that are incorrectly addressed, delivered in person, by mail or any other type of delivery service.

The Board shall have the final decision-making authority concerning any final award to a management firm or manager entered by the County. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked in order of preference by the Gulf County Administration. The County may also request additional information from a proposer that may be necessary to fully evaluate a proposal. The proposals will be evaluated and then submitted with recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. If only one proposal is received, the County may negotiate in good faith.

All proposals that are timely received shall become the property of the County and any costs or expenses incurred in relation to preparation and submission of proposals shall be borne by the proposer. Such proposals and related information shall be subject to the applicable provisions of the Florida Public Records Act.

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking solicitations from VoIP Phone System Service Providers to provide, operate, and manage the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners VoIP phone system.

The provider will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of necessary switches and routers and any other equipment (except for the desk phones) necessary to allow approximately 200 user connections at 14 locations within Gulf County.
