Request for Qualifications (RFQ) # 1718-09

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive proposals from any qualified person, company, or corporation interested in providing the following:

FLOATING DRY DOCK DESIGN & ENGINEERING SERVICES

Gulf County BOCC is accepting proposals to provide for professional engineering & design services.  GCBOCC is looking for a licensed, qualified, and experienced engineering firm which will prepare and design for Gulf County the required comprehensive engineering plans for its specific construction for its floating dry dock. 

RFQ with criteria, requirements and anticipated scope of work will be provided upon written request by contacting directly:  Deputy Administrator, Kari Summers, ksummers@gulfcounty-fl.gov; Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, 1000 Cecil Costin Blvd., Room 302, Port St. Joe, Florida  32456; Phone:  850-229-6106.  RFQ Specifications can also be obtained from the RFQ pdf posted on the Gulf County website http://gulfcounty-fl.gov.

January 9th Clarification..  Bidding firms shall be required to be a licensed Engineering firm, but not specific to Florida.

Proposal submissions must be sealed and marked with the name of the proposer, and the RFQ number and title “FLOATING DRY DOCK DESIGN & ENGINEERING SERVICES” so as to identify the enclosed proposal. Each submittal shall include one (1) original and four (4) copies of the proposal.  Proposals must be delivered to the Gulf County Clerk of Court, 1000 Cecil Costin Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, so as to reach said office no later 4:30 p.m., E.T. on 17th day, January 2018. RFQ responses will be opened at this same location on 18th day, January, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., E.T. Proposals received later than the date and time as specified will be rejected. The Board will not be responsible for the late deliveries of proposals that are incorrectly addressed, delivered in person, by mail or any other type of delivery service. 

This project is funded with assistance from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Financial Management Project Numbers 44149619401 – (Dry Dock) and 44149629401 (Dredging). By submitting a letter of qualification, the Consultant certifies that they are in compliance with FDOT Procedure No. 375-030-006 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compare for Department Contracts) and that no principle is presently suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible or voluntarily excluded from participation on this transaction by any Federal Department or Agency.

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any parts thereof, and the determination of this award, if an award is made, will be based on the final evaluation of the submitted proposals and thereafter the invitation to negotiate a professional services contract. The Board reserves the right to waive irregularities in the proposal.

Gulf County BOCC is accepting proposals to provide for professional consulting and engineering services for the inspections and oversight of the design and construction of a floating dry dock to be secured and constructed by Gulf County. GCBOCC is looking for a licensed, qualified and experienced engineering firm which will provide the consulting and engineering services to inspect and oversee the engineering, design and construction phases for Gulf County and its construction of a floating dry dock.

Gulf County BOCC is accepting qualifications and proposals from qualified product and service providers (grocers, suppliers, distributors) to provide for food products and commodities to its various departments, agencies and correctional facility on a rotating schedule pursuant to Florida Statute and Gulf County Procurement Policies. GCBOCC is looking for qualified providers that can routinely provide food products and commodities to the Gulf County departments as requested and scheduled.
